Rapid Vienna have officially confirmed the signing of attacking winger Nosa Petter Dahl, who joins from Belgian side KV Mechelen, completing the move in Austria with his FIFA‑licensed agent, Atta Aneke, by his side.
Born October 22, 2003, in Oslo to a Nigerian mother and Norwegian father, Petter Nosakhare Dahl (commonly known as Nosa) brings a vibrant blend of speed, dribbling ability, and attacking flair to Rapid’s right and left flanks.

Eligible to represent both Norway and Nigeria, his arrival marks another high-profile step for dual‑national talents looking to make their mark in Europe.
Nosa made a name for himself in Norway with KFUM Oslo, where he tallied impressive numbers – five goals and two assists in 15 Eliteserien appearances after earlier successful loan spells in Norway’s second tier.
Mechelen secured his signature in July 2024 on a four‑year deal until 2028, banking on his explosive potential.
However, adaptation to Belgian football proved more challenging than expected. While he produced some promising contributions off the bench, his playing time at Mechelen remained limited heading into this summer.
Writing in mid‑2025, Nosa reflected candidly on the transition: “I expected to play a lot more when I came here, but football is what it is, and ultimately it is the coach who decides,” he conceded.
Rapid Vienna will be hoping that this fresh environment provides the platform he needs to unlock his full potential. At 1.80 m tall with excellent one‑on‑one skills, he fits the mould of a dynamic attacking winger who can outpace defenders and deliver key final‑third actions.
The move also underscores the role of Atta Aneke, Denmark/Nigeria‑based FIFA‑licensed agent, in facilitating high-profile dual‑heritage transfers to top European leagues. Nosa’s switch to Austria comes alongside Aneke’s growing reputation for developing and managing multicultural talent trajectories.
For Rapid Vienna, the signing adds depth and unpredictability to their offensive unit. At 21, Dahl arrives with both room to grow and the stylistic freedom to thrive.
Now begins the next chapter of his journey: can Nosa Petter Dahl harness his raw skill set and multicultural flair to cement a starting spot in Austria’s Bundesliga and continue his upward trajectory?
