The falcons of Jediane played a 0-0 draw match in their first opening game against Guinea-Bissau giving Nigeria a lead in the Group D table after beating Egypt a lone goal.

” We have rested very well from our previous match and we’re ready. The experience so far has been good because we knew it is important for us to stay solid and stay together as a team and also work hard. So it is really good and it is a nice feeling for me because this is my first AFCON outing so the most important thing is to get the three-point”, Aribo Said.

” We want to win our match against Sudan and also win every single game. We also want to win every other game because we’re aiming for victory and also get the three-point putting up a good performance. We hope to see the super eagle of Nigeria soar high”, Joe Aribo concluded.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles know they will have both legs firmly in the tournament’s Round of 16 if they scoop all three points against Sudan in their second match of Group B at the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon on Saturday evening.
