NIGERIA TO TACKLE GHANA, SENEGAL IN INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLIES

Super Eagles of Nigeria would face Ghana and Senegal on International friendlies. Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has lined up international friendlies with Ghana and Senegal ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

 

Nigeria have planned to engage the senior national team of Ghana in a pre-tournament friendly next month.

According to sports247.ng, Nigeria are set to hold talks with the Ghana Football Association to host the Black Stars in an international friendly.

Super Eagles of Nigeria head coach, Gernot Rohr revealed their decision to face the Black Stars in an interview after the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations draw on Friday evening.

“We plan to play build-up games vs Ghana (in Nigeria), and may be Senegal.” coach Gernot Rohr told reporters in Cairo, Egypt.

Super Eagles are in Group B of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations alongside Guinea, Madagascar and Burundi.
Ghana have also been pitted in Group F with defending champions, Cameroon, Benin and Guinea Bissau.
