The forthcoming 2nd Nigeria Golf Summit, which will take place in Abuja on August 26th and 27th, has been described as a gathering that has a purpose of bringing esteemed personalities together from different walks of life to help them maximise various opportunities.
Sports247 reports that this verdict was issued by summit chairman, Lawal Garba, who also expressed delight about the forthcoming gathering, which he equally predicted will bring up fresh prospects and opportunities for growth among participating stakeholders.
Garba, who is also the the chairman of Trobell Nigeria Limited, added that the second edition of the summit, which is organised by Nigeria Golf Federation (NGF), will bring together stakeholders from all across the country and many golfers under one roof at NICON Luxury Hotel in Abuja.
The ardent golfer and renowned promoter of ‘the sport of gentlemen’ added that the summit will provide another vibrant window for Nigerian golfers to move to the next level, especially as its biggest motives are to connect, explore how participants can get better and improve in their respective endeavours.
“We all belong to our respective fields, but I believe golf is bringing us together for a purpose. We have to maximize the opportunities of the forthcoming summit to make friends and also learn more about the sport.
“The development of golf in Nigeria is also paramount. All these and many more will be on the cards at the summit. I am just so happy that this is happening, especially at the right time,” Garba expatiated.
