The organizers of the Nigeria-France Sports Awards have celebrated Hon. Adeyinka Adeboye, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development, describing him as a beacon of hope and transformation in Nigerian sports, following his special recognition at the 3rd edition of the prestigious awards held at La Maison des Arts, Paris.
Event Coordinator, Ojora Babatunde, praised Adeboye’s tireless commitment to empowering young athletes and promoting grassroots initiatives that are reshaping the sporting landscape in Nigeria.

“Hon. Adeyinka Adeboye has become a symbol of progress and inspiration. According to Babatunde, the organizers decided to honor Adeboye not only for his role in government but also for his personal passion and consistent advocacy for community-based sports initiatives that open doors for Nigeria’s youth.
“We are proud to celebrate him here in France. His leadership embodies the spirit of the awards — bridging nations through sports, excellence, and innovation,” Babatunde added.
The Nigeria-France Sports Awards brought together diplomats, sports icons, and members of the Nigerian diaspora, reinforcing the strong cultural and sporting ties between both nations.
