Nigeria Announces Super Falcons Squad for WAFCON Final Round with Barcelona Duo Oshoala and Nnadozie Leading the Charge

Key Omissions and Exciting Inclusions as Coach Justin Madugu Prepares Team for Important Clash Against Cape Verde on November 30

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has released a list of 23 Super Falcons players in preparation for the final round of matches in the Women’s African Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

Leading the team are Barcelona superstars Asisat Oshoala and Chiamaka Nnadozie, accompanied by 21 others.

Notably absent from the roster are the well-known defender Michelle Alozie and Ashleigh Plumptre.

The responsibility of coaching the Super Falcons will be taken by Justin Madugu, as Randy Waldrum is set to be unavailable for the second consecutive international window.

Among the players selected, the emerging star Omorinsola Babajide makes a return to the team.

Esther Onyenezide of Robo Queens, Akudo Ogbonna from Remo Stars, and Rihanat Kasali of Bayelsa Queens represent the home-based stars in the lineup.

The upcoming clash in the first leg against Cape Verde will take place at the M.K.O Abiola International Stadium in Abuja on November 30.
