“Nigeria is already blessed with talents and resources waiting to be harnessed and properly developed,” Sasore said.

“Our primary objective is to identify these talents and create pathways for them to grow within a structured system.”

The technical director explained that the federation aims to position Nigeria as one of Africa’s major hubs for American football through strategic planning, grassroots engagement and collaboration with international partners.

“We want Nigeria to become a reference point for American football in Africa,” he added.

“With the right structures, exposure and partnerships, our athletes can compete at a high level globally.”

Sasore further emphasized that the federation will work closely with stakeholders, coaches and administrators to ensure sustainable growth, noting that long-term planning rather than quick success remains the priority.

“This is about building something sustainable. If we get the foundations right, the results will follow,” he concluded.
