The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Liberia, Ambassador Odudigbo Godfrey, organized a reception for players and officials of Rivers United FC. Who are in Liberia to battle Watanga FC in Sunday’s CAF Champions League preliminary round second leg tie.

The Pride of Rivers contingent was treated to a grand dinner shortly after arriving the Liberian capital Monrovia on Friday. And they were charged to ensure they consolidate on the job they started in the first leg after capping a fantastic performance at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium with a well-deserved 3-0 victory against the Liberian Champions Watanga FC.
