Niger Tornadoes Chairman Felicitates With Christian Faithfuls On Christmas Festivity, Condole With Families Of NPFL Players Who Loss Their Lives

The Chairman Niger Tornadoes Management Committee & Member of the Interim Management Committee (IMC) Hon. Adamu Aliyu Mohammed on behalf of the management of the club heartily rejoice with Christian brothers and sisters on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.

In a message signed by the Chairman and published through the Media Department of the club, the Chairman prayed for a successful and hitch free festivity.

Adamu Aliyu Mohammed, while calling for peaceful coexistence amongst christians and other faiths, urged political and religion leaders to espouse unity of purpose, irrespective of ideologies, for the socio-economic development of the nation.

He said, Sports is a unifying factor, hence the need for stakeholders to continue to explore all avenues to ensure growth and development of the game.

The Chairman used the occasion to condole with the families of Chinedu Udechukwu, a player of Nasarawa United and former Sunshine Stars’ striker who reportedly slumped in Jos, Plateau State on Wednesday and Ebuka David Odenigbo, an Aiteo Cup winning striker with Kano Pillars who also passed on, on Friday.

He prayed God to grant them an eternal rest and the families, the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
