NFF First Vice President Seyi Akinwunmi Sends Ekiti FA Coach To NIS

The Ekiti State Football Association has paid the tuition fees for Coach Olowoselu Busuyi Adewumi from Ikole Local Football Council, to complete his Basics in Coaching certification at the Nigeria Institute for Sports (NIS), Lagos.

Recall that the Nigeria Football Federation First Vice President, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi pledged to bankroll the scholarship in support of the Ekiti State Football Association’s Scholarship Scheme.

BSA as fondly called had also promised to offer four outstanding players – Basit Saludeen, Toheeb Olasunkanmi, Ebenezer Olatuyi, and Taiwo Adebisi of the Ekiti State Cadet team, the Ekiti Baby Bees a year scholarship each, courtesy of his charity foundation for kids – Seyi Akinwunmi Charity Foundation.

Akinwunmi who was among the VIP guests at the maiden Ekiti State Football Association Merit Awards said in his speech.

“Delighted to see that the four players (boys) nominated for the Best U-13 Player of the Year were given scholarships by Ekiti FA. Let me state, that my foundation (Seyi Akinwunmi Charity Foundation) will award them scholarships that will run for next year.

The lucky recipients are already enjoying a year of sports and education scholarship through the Ekiti State FA Scholarship Scheme funded by the likes of Hon. Akintunde Oyebode, TZAR Foundation, Tade Gboyega Foundation, and some Ekiti State Bet9ja Agents.
