New Kwara United Chairman visits KFA players …Charges them to be disciplined

    The newly appointed chairman of Kwara United Football Club Mr Kunbi Titiloye paid a courtesy visit to the players and coaches of the senior team of Kwara Football Academy during a pre-season friendly match between the Academy and Kwara United FC played at the main bowl of the Kwara state stadium in Ilorin.

    The former Administrator of the academy charge the players to work hard and justify their presence in the academy. He stated that a player must have possessed sterling qualities to be in Kwara football academy and as such, the qualities have to be justified. He praised the qualities displayed during the 2-2 draw against Kwara United and encourage them to do better.

    He, however, promised to encourage the graduation of more players from the academy to the Kwara United main team. In his words “The essence of Kwara football academy is to train players and graduate them to play professional football and that idea I will propagate to the later”.

    Mr Kunbi later requested from the technical crew led by the technical director of the academy Coach Sam Elijah who also worked with him while he was at the academy to submit the names of six top players to join the Kwara United FC side.

    The Football Administrator supervised over a successful tenure at Kwara Football academy between 2010-2014, when the academy won many laurels including the Winners medal at the National Shell Cup in Lagos, the State FA Cup and the state league title and also enjoyed a couple of European training tours to Belgium and Italy.
