The newly appointed General Manager of the Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA), Divine Ogbonnaya, has promised to revive the agency’s fortunes through proactive and professional initiatives, in line with the vision of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Ogbonnaya made this commitment during his inaugural meeting with ODSFA staff in Akure, stating that his administration would prioritise proactiveness, professionalism, and inclusivity to deliver positive results.

He described Governor Aiyedatiwa as a leader of exceptional qualities, noting his remarkable achievements despite initial doubts from some quarters.
“The number one citizen is a leader with many great qualities. He doesn’t talk much, but he is an achiever. His style of governance is exemplary, and we are more than ready to make him proud. With God and your support, we shall achieve together,” Ogbonnaya said.
The ODSFA boss urged staff to remain diligent, professional, and committed to their duties, while avoiding any actions that could undermine the agency’s objectives. He assured that the newly appointed committee members are dedicated individuals who share the vision of success.
Ogbonnaya also pledged to give priority to the welfare of both players and staff, emphasising that their wellbeing is essential for sustained progress.
He expressed gratitude to Governor Aiyedatiwa for the opportunity to serve and vowed to lead with integrity and deliver on his mandate.
