The two teams representing Abia State at the ongoing NDDC U17 Peace Cup in Delta State, Donastars FC and El-Godz FC, will play in the finals of the competition, following their victories on Saturday.
At the first semi final match played at the Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi Uku, Donastars FC(Abia) defeated Campus FC (Imo) two goals to one, while the other Abia team, El-Godz FC defeated Ine Stars of Edo State by same scoreline.
The results will see two teams from the same state play in the finals for the first time since the competition commenced last year.
Campus FC of Imo will slug it out with Ine Stars of Edo in the third place match at 1pm at the Stephen Keshi Stadium Asaba on Sunday, and will followed by the finals between Donastars FC and El-Godz FC at 3pm.
