President of Nigeria Basketball Federation, Engr. Ahmadu Musa Kida last week Friday, made a donation of top quality basketball equipment to the Sports Council of University Of Maiduguri, Borno State.
The equipment which was received by the grateful University’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Aliyu Shugaba, was one of the several personal initiatives of Kida and also, one of the well lauded programmes of his Ahmadu Musa Kida Foundation(AMK), to help the growth and development of the game of basketball across different spheres of our national life.
It would be recalled, too, that the AMK Foundation birthed the 3v3 basketball programmes in Nigeria, as well as, providing a mobile play ground for the game across different parts of the country, in recent times.
Kida had earlier reiterated his unflinching commitment to the overall development of the game in Nigeria. Adding that Nigeria is blessed with a boundless pool of talents, good enough to dominant the game globally.
