President of Nigeria Basketball Federation, Engr. Ahmadu Musa Kida has sent a congratulatory message to all Muslim faithful in Nigeria and diaspora on the celebration of Eid-El Fitri.
In the message, Kida enjoined them to imbibe the lessons of Ramadan, which included peace, love, unity, kindness, and compassion, even after the fasting period.
” Ramadan is a month of peace and blessings. It is a month that brings out compassion and kindness. Therefore, going forward, I want to plead that we keep the lessons therein in our hearts and put them to practice for the benefit of humanity.
He went ahead to advise all stakeholders in the fortunes of Nigeria basketball to rally around his NBBF-led board for continued development and growth of the game in Nigeria. Adding that with genuine and concerted efforts, Nigeria would continue to remain the shining light of the game in Africa.
