Former D’Tigers head coach Sanni Ahmed has welcomed the appointment of Dave Fizdale as the new coach of Nigeria’s men’s national basketball team, describing the decision as a positive step for the future of the program.

Reacting to the announcement, Ahmed said bringing in a coach with strong NBA experience could prove highly beneficial for Nigerian basketball.
