Nawarudeen Primary School, Olose Ifo, came alive on February 12, 2026, as pupils, staff, parents, and community leaders gathered for the school’s much-anticipated 2026 Inter-House Sports competition. The event showcased athletic talent, unity, and vibrant house spirit in a memorable celebration of sportsmanship.
The competing houses included Blue House (Ibro Peckham), Orange House (Ola Omo Ola), Yellow House (Hon. Sammy Y.K), Green House (Alh. Akeem Adetunji – Hamob), and Purple House (Alh. Abwas).
Each house displayed remarkable enthusiasm and competitive energy throughout the day’s activities, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and healthy rivalry.
Beyond the sporting contests, the event was marked by a significant moment of recognition. The Head Teacher of School II, Alhaji Tirmisiyu Olawale Salaudeen was decorated as an IFO Ambassador by Bonafide Omo IFO (IFO Indigenous Youth Development Association).
The decoration was led by the Coordinator, Hon. Musiliudeen Adeosun, in acknowledgment of outstanding contributions to education and community development.
The occasion was graced by several dignitaries, including Alhaji Wasiu – Abwas, Ibro Peckham, Comr. Ismaheel Kareem, Chief Muritala Salami, Mrs. Eniola Azeezat Adebeshin, Amb. Abiodun Ogunbayo, and representatives of the Association of Primary School Head Teachers of Nigeria (IFO chapter), Ustaz Afaduajagun among others.
The 2026 Inter-House Sports not only celebrated athletic excellence but also strengthened community bonds, leaving lasting memories for pupils and attendees alike.
