National Beach Soccer League Kicks Off In Ilorin With Two Matches Decided On Day One

The First round of the National Beach Soccer League has kicked off in Ilorin, the state Capital with two matches Played on Wednesday at the Kwara State Stadium Complex.

In the first game of the Championship, Kada Kings walloped the debutant, Niger State by ten goals to three while it was fire for fire in the second game as the host, Kwara came from behind on three occasions to play three all against Badagry but eventually lost four goals to five on Penality.

Sparking to Sports writers after the games, the vice Chairman of the Nigeria Beach Soccer League, Prince Oladimeji Ladi thompson expressed satisfaction with the Performance of the teams and the spirit of sportsmanship exhibited, explaining that the game of Beach Soccer has come stay in Kwara.

Prince Thompson who is also the Patron of the Kwara State Beach Soccer Association maintained that with improve awareness of the game, more soccer fans will converge at the stadium to add colour and glamour to the ongoing league in the State

He applauded the administration of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq for Promoting Sports through an enabling environment and Urged him to extend his gesture to the state’s beach Soccer Family.

Action Continues on Thursday as six matches will be Played on day two, three matches in the morning from half past Seven to noon while the remaining three games will be Played in the afternoon starting from 3pm to 6:pm in the evening
