The Nathaniel Idowu-Ajegunle Under-14 Football League delivered another round of exciting grassroots football action in Week 9, as Ajegunle United SC returned to winning ways and Strong Dove Football Academy extended their dominant run with an emphatic victory.

Meanwhile, Bright Future FA suffered a setback that could dent their qualification hopes.
Ajegunle United SC reignited their push for a Super 4 spot with a composed 2-0 win over Coal City FA. Joshua Vincent opened the scoring in the 21st minute before James Solomon doubled the advantage in the 32nd minute. Solomon’s impressive performance earned him the Man of the Match award.
In one of the most dramatic fixtures of the round, Young 11 FA held Bright Future FA to a 1-1 draw. Bright Future took an early lead through Olatunji Mubarak, who fired home a low effort in the 7th minute.
However, Uwaifo Goodnews struck a late equaliser with just a minute remaining, leaving Bright Future’s qualification hopes hanging in the balance heading into their final game.
Moree Wins Foundation FA edged Michael May FA 1-0 in a tightly contested encounter.
Chidera Frederick netted the decisive goal in the 33rd minute to seal all three points, compounding Michael May FA’s difficult campaign.
The standout performance of the week came from Strong Dove FA, who cruised to a dominant 5-0 victory over Divinely Blessed FA.
Muogbuo Goodluck starred with a superb hat-trick, while John David and Oyebanji Vincent also got on the scoresheet in a commanding display. Goodluck’s brilliance earned him the Man of the Match accolade.
With the race for Super 4 spots intensifying, the final round of fixtures promises more drama as teams battle to secure qualification.
