Nasarawa United FC Congratulates New NRA President Sani Zubairu

Following the emergence of Retired FIFA Referee, Alh. Sani Zubairu, at the recent quadrennial National Elective Congress of the Nigeria(Football) Referees’ Association, NRA held in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nasarawa United Football Club, through its Chairman, Chief Barr. Isaac Danladi has sent a congratulatory message to the new President of the Association.

Parts of the content of the letter made available to the Club’s Media read: “Congratulations on your deserved victory and subsequent election as President of the Nigeria Football Referees’ Association.

“Your impeccable track records, especially as Head of the Refereeing Unit of the Nigeria Football Federation and Deputy President of the NRA, humane personality, and vast experience, coupled with the fear of God, necessitated your consensus election into the highest refereeing body in Nigeria.

“We pray and hope that your leadership will bring higher innovations, improvement in officiating, and welfare of referees for optimum performance.

“It is also our expectation that, under your brave leadership, Nigeria will have more representations(referees) at continental and global football competitions.”

Barr. Danladi also congratulated other elected officials of the NRA and wished them well in the task ahead.
