NANPF: Players union appoints zonal coordinators

National Association of Nigeria professional footballers ( NANPF) has intensified moves to reposition its states structures with the appointment of members into caretaker committees.

The new moves to consolidate on its administrative and restructuring got a boost with the approval of zonal coordinators by NANPF President Tijani Babangida.

According to a release signed by the union’s Assistant General Secretary, Comrade Danladi Musa, the moves are aimed at creating leadership that would help to strengthen and provide direction and focus in the zones.

” In view of this development, the President of the Nigeria Players Union, Tijani Babangida has approved the appointment of the following members, largely drawn from the National Administrative Council (NAC) as zonal coordinators of NANPF, he explained.

Ex- international Patrick Pascal, is the zonal coordinator for North East; Jibo Bello is the coordinator for North West; North Central coordinator is Abdul Sule; Edema Fuludu heads the South-South zone; South East is headed by Chikelue Iloenyosi and South-West zone is led by Mutiu Adepoju.
