Ramat HaSharon F.C forward Ibeh Jide has sounded out his desire to become the top scorer of the 2021-22 Liga Leumit season, the second division of the Israeli Football League.

Jide who recently joined Ramat HaSharon from Lagos-based side Emmydinho FC is beginning to find his feet in his surroundings. After starting the season with the club’s youth side, Jide has been promoted to the first team where he is aiming to help the club achieve its goals for the season.

“I put God first in everything. It is not by my power but by the grace of God that everything is going the way they are for me,” Jide revealed to Sports247 on his promotion to Ramat HaSharon’s first team.

The talented youngster is keen to make his mark and has already set his sights on finishing the campaign as the Liga Leumit’s top scorer.

“I can fit in well with the main team because the coaches are being good to me and my teammates are always there for me too.

“My target is to be the best striker in the first team. I want to always be at the top. My target is to score more goals to come out as the top goal scorer in the league this season.” he added.
