‘My Players are ready to put their body on the line to maintain top spot’ Says Coach Lansana Dukaray

The Top team in the Agbor Center of the Bet9ja-DFA State League KG Sports Academy after week one fixtures has resolved to put their body on the line to maintain the top spot.

It was against all expectation that the young lads of KG Sports Academy Agbor shocked CASI Academy of Issele Asagba 3-1 in the opening fixtures of the Bet9ja-DFA state league on tuesday afternoon. Many Fans had expected the KG boys to be ran over but the Pride of Agbor took the lead as early as in the 12th minute and despite Iselle Asagba Leveling up before the interval, the energetic academy boys came back in the second half to score two goal and won the tie convincingly. The Goal Margin was good enough to shoot the Agbor Boys to the top of the Table.

KG Sports Academy who has been on an unbeaten run of 7 games in pre season friendlies will face off with Igho FC in week two and Coach Lansana Dukaray is optimisitc of the boys maintaining their unbeaten record.

“My boys will put their bodies on the line against Igho, we know its going to be a tough match because Igho lost their first game and would not want to suffer back to back defeats” the sierra leonean Stated.

” Our first game was tough for my young team because we couldn’t make substitution due to some technical hitches but in the end we won, It’s a win that has taken us to the top of the table, but again it was a very difficult one”

” We had to defend with our lives and the boys really tried to win the game after CASI equalised, so it’s a good one for us” he concluded.

Looking at the log table critically in the Agbor Center, KG sports Academy now tops the league table with 3 points and better goal difference from 4 other teams as there were 5 wins in the week 1 fixtures in the center. Anticipating another victory in their next match to keep them on top.
