‘My Managers Love It!’ Iwobi Says Coaches Support His Social Media Vlogs

Nigerian midfielder Alex Iwobi has revealed that his managers have no problem with his activity on social media, as long as it remains positive and he continues to perform well on the pitch.

The Fulham midfielder, who has gained popularity for posting entertaining behind-the-scenes vlogs and content online, explained that both his club and national team coaches appreciate his personality and creativity.

“My managers don’t mind what I do on social media as long as it’s positive,” Iwobi said.

Iwobi noted that his club manager understands that social media allows players to connect with fans and express themselves outside football.

“They know it’s a way for me to show my personality and connect with supporters,” he explained.

The Super Eagles star also revealed that Eric Chelle, head coach of the Nigeria national football team, enjoys the content he posts online.

“Coach Chelle actually likes the vlogs that I post as well,” he added.

According to Iwobi, his coaches are supportive because he always maintains professionalism and ensures that his performances on the pitch remain the priority.

“All my managers encourage it, as long as I’m doing my job on the field,” he stated.

The Nigerian international has built a reputation for blending football with creativity through social media, often sharing clips from training, travel moments and team activities.

Iwobi believes this openness helps supporters understand players better and strengthens the connection between fans and athletes.

“It allows fans to see a different side of players and what happens behind the scenes,” he said.

Despite his growing social media presence, the midfielder stressed that football always comes first.

“At the end of the day, the most important thing is delivering on the pitch,” he concluded.
