Musa Thanks Al-Nassr’s Fans For Their Prayers

Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia attacker, Ahmed Musa has hinted that he was able to make a spirited return to action with the club because of fervent prayers given on his behalf by fans of the club.

Musa was back in action on Saturday, for the first time since January 3, going on as a 78th minute substitute in the 1-0 win against Al-Feiha, and the Super Eagles vice-captain afterwards thanked his club’s fans for their love during his time out with injury and mourning his late mother.

Sports247.ng learnt further that Musa equally admitted he felt good to be back in action, as he was able to help the team to victory in his 15th league match since his arrival from Leicester City of England.

Musa, who has five goals to his name with Al-Nassr, said he was excited to be part of Saturday’s home win at King Fahd International Stadium, Riyadh after spending several weeks on the sidelines.

After first missing action due to injury, the former Kano Pillars, VV Van Venlo of Holland and CSKA Moscow of Russia star was later granted compassionate leave by the club following the death of his mother.

For his first match since then, Musa went on as a 78th minute substitute for Abderrazzak Hamedellah, who had earlier scored the game’s only goal with a penalty kick.

Musa stated afterwards on social media: “Important win mates ! Good to be back on the pitch. Thank to all the fans for your prayers @AlNassrFC.”
