Musa Blows Hot On Arrival In Eagles’ Camp

Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia attacker, Ahmed Musa was blowing hot and lyrical on his arrival at the Super Eagles’ camp in Uyo, as he said he and his colleagues are determined to beat their visitors from Libya.

Musa, who has been in top form with the club he joined this past summer from Leicester City of England, was among the Nigerian players to braved all travel woes and difficulties to finally arrive Uyo on Tuesday afternoon, and he quickly vented his anger on the Libyans.

Sports247.ng gathered that Musa and 21 other invited players arrived at the Eagles’ camp on Tuesday, ahead of Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against The Mediterranean Knights of Libya.

Goalkeepers Francis Uzoho, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Daniel Akpeyi, as well as defenders William Ekong, Semi Ajayi, Leon Balogun, Olaoluwa Aina, Jamilu Collins, Abdullahi Shehu, Chidozie Awaziem and Kenneth Omeruo were also at the team’s Ibom Meridien Hotels camp.

Also present in camp as at Tuesday evening were midfielders Wilfred Onyinyen Ndidi, Samuel Kalu, Eddy Ogenyi Onazi, John Ugochuwku Ogu and Oghenekaro Etebo.

Others are forwards Isaac Success, Alex Iwobi, Moses Simon, Henry Onyekuru and Kelechi Iheanacho.

The arrivals enabled Eagles’ coach, Gernot Rohr to organize a full training session on Tuesday evening, as the three –time African champions set in motion their plans to pluck all three points from the Group E leaders.
