Renowned sports writer, editor, general manager and director, Alhaji Mumini Alao has set in motion an elaborate plan to bring many high profile personalities together under one roof at the University of Lagos.
Sports247 gathered that the date is Sunday, 10th August, 2025 and the venue will be Tayo Aderinokun Hall at UNILAG, as the veteran journalist and erudite analyst presents a public lecture to highlight the formal presentation of his autobiography.

Guest speaker for the occasion will be the former governor of Lagos State and ex-minister of power, Barrister Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), who will share his views under the topic ‘Rethinking the current football business model in Nigeria as a catalyst for sports development.’
Chairman for the day will be National Sports Commission (NSC) chairman, Mallam Shehu Dikko, while the special guest will be Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau.
Also expected to grace the occasion as special guest of honour will be former sports minister, Senator John Owan Enoh, who is now the minister of state for industry.
Sports247 gathered further that the event, which will be packaged jointly by Pentacrest Company and Complete Sports newspaper, is also expected to attract personalities from all walks of life; including retired and current football stars, athletes, social media influencers, fans, corporate officials, sports administrators and celebrities.
Alao, who is currently the executive consultant at Complete Communications Limited (CCL), is an alumnus of UNILAG, where he acquired a BSc degree, before moving on to get his masters and doctorate certificates as well.
