Morocco Tourney: Prince Kazeem Eletu Battle U-21 WAC Casablanca Friday

Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club of Nigeria would have their hands full tomorrow morning when they confront U-21 WAC Casablanca Football Club of Morocco in the ongoing invitational tournament taking place in North Africa.

The match would hold on Friday at 11 am at WAC Casablanca Training Ground, Casablanca, Morocco.

Having lost 0-2 to FAR Rabat FC in their second match played yesterday, the Nigerian club representative would go out for victory in tomorrow’s tie as the players are in high spirit to end the tournament on a winning note.

Reacting to their defeat against FAR Rabat FC, head coach of Prince Kazeem Eletu, Gilles Hugon explained to our correspondent on the phone that his boys lost the game because they lacked the intensity of the game and they were not accurate in their passing which cost them their defeat.

“There are many reasons why we lost our second match. The players were not able to have enough rest before their next game and secondly the players were under pressure because everybody wants to impress and as a result of that there might be some mistakes players committed on the field of play. Another thing I observed was that the players lacked the intensity of the game and their passes were not accurate which I believe is responsible for our defeat,” he said.

Commenting on the general performances of the players, the French coach said all the players played above 75percentage but only two or three players were outstanding in terms of a general assessment of the players.

“I am not too satisfied with the general performance of the players because I want 100 percent performance from them. I can say only two or three players meet my expectations but by and large, all the players played above average,” he said.

Hugon said the players are looking forwards to the last match noted that all the mistakes committed in their last game have been corrected in the training session today.
