MIXED MARTIAL ARTS BOSS CALLS FOR SOLIDARITY IN FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19

    President of the Mixed Martial Arts Federation Ambassador Henry George has urged Nigerians to develop a great sense of civic duty to help in the fight against coronavirus.

    According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC as at 9:30pm 9th April, 2020 Nigeria had recorded total of 288 cases of the virus with 7 deaths.

    Speaking during a broadcast, George who doubles as the President, the Dynamite Fighting Champion, DFC advised Nigerians to obey the relevant authorities and put the interest of the general public first.

    “At this critical time in the globe we must develop great sense of civic duty by putting the interests of the general public above our personal interest, by obeying all Government’s directive to fight the covid-19, by obeying the authorities we as individuals will stop the spread of this virus.”

    The former Mixed Martial Artist enjoined all citizens in the Nation to join in the fight against the deadly virus.

    “Sports promotes unity and together we can fight this pandemic, as a people as a strong team, as a global team and come out victorious like strong athletes. As a global team we cannot meet physically but we can meet in our minds, together we can fight like great athletes to come out victorious. In solidarity as a nation we join the fight against this deadly virus.”
