Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo once again put up a top performance in a Spanish La Liga clash as he helped Leganes secure another season at the top after they thrashed Sevilla 3-0 at the Ramon Sanchez on Friday Night.
Needing at least a point to remain in the top Division, Leganes came into the match with confidence after an impressive display over Celta Vigo the last time whilst host Sevilla were hoping to boost their Champions League qualification hopes.
Omeruo was at his usual best and showed composure all through the game, earning an impressive game rating of 7.6 as the Madrid-based side thrashed hosts Sevilla 3-0.
Omeruo wrote afterwards on social media: “VAAAAAAAAMOSSSSSS LEGANÉS. Mission accomplished… what a season it has been.”
The win moves Leganes to occupy 9th position with 45 points from 36 games in La Liga.
