Mees Palace Football Academy Players Have Medicals At O.L.A Hospital Ahead Of Football Resumption

In readiness for the new season, players and staff of Mees Palace Football Academy visited our partners, Our Lady of Apostle (O.L.A) hospital for a routine medical check-up.

The check-up is a yearly exercise done by players and staff of the Academy in order to make sure their health status is up to scratch and with the recent spate of COVID-19 pandemic ravaging the world, it was necessary to get it done.

“With the COVID-19 pandemic causing a disruption in our activities for the year, it was necessary to validate the health status of our players ahead of our resumption, especially when we get the nod form the Nigeria Football Federation”. Sporting Director, Tony Shav told the Academy website.

“We want to use the opportunity to thank our partner, O.L.A, for always making the process seamless anytime we come around for the check-up”.

Also, “we would like to thank our other partner, St. Murumba College for making the process of our J.S.S 3 students who are writing exams seamless”. Coach Shav added.

It will be recalled that our season was put to a halt in late March while we were playing the Zenith Bank State U13 and U15 competitions, as our U15 boys had qualified for the finals while our U13 had qualified for the semis.
