Sports247 reports that Garba, who won the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup with an earlier squad of the Golden Eaglets in the United Arab Emirates, disclosed that he was happy seeing his current set of players whip Ebonyi State 5-0 in the quarter-finals but stressed that they can play much better.
“I feel extremely happy. Not just because of the victory, but because of how the boys played. They dominated possession, and they scored five good goals. It made me feel good.
“I believe they can still do much better, though. At this junction, I call on Nigerians, especially people in Ogun State, to come out en mass and support the World Golden Eaglets,” Manu solicited.
