Mandy Records First Victory As 2022 West Africa Sitting Volleyball Championship Ends Saturday

Mandy Volleyball team defeated Falcons 3-0 (25-14, 25-14, 25-20) to record their first-ever victory at the ongoing 2022 West Africa Sitting Volleyball Championship on Friday 16 December 2022 at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Lagos. The competition being hosted by the Nigeria Paravolley Federation is a platform to expose players to their counterparts across the West African sub-region.

Lagos-based Legacy sitting volleyball club recorded a win over Federal Capital Territory. Having started strongly in the first set with a 25-14points win, they had to dig deep in the next two sets to squeeze out 25-23 and 29-26 points win.

Bayelsa state team was too strong for Mandy SVC as they dispatched them in three quick sets while Laoms outscored Falcons 25-8, 25-11, 25-6 points

The final day of matches will be on Saturday. Laoms will take on Bayelsa, Legacy will battle Team Mandy, FCT will take on Falcons Sports and Laoms will face Legacy.
