Majekodunmi Felicitates With Chief Alhaja Ayo Omidiran on Her Federal Appointment

Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi, Executive Board Member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Chairman of the NFF Youth Football Committee and Chairman of the Ogun State Football Association, has congratulated Chief Alhaja Ayo Hulayat Omidiran of Osun State on her appointment as Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC).

Chief Alhaja Omidiran was recently sworn in by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu alongside other commissioners of the Federal Character Commission at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, marking the commencement of her tenure as head of the constitutional body.

In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of himself and the Ogun State Football Association, Majekodunmi described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that it reflects Omidiran’s years of dedication to public service, leadership and national development.

“On behalf of the Ogun State Football Association and myself, I warmly congratulate Chief Alhaja Ayo Omidiran on her appointment as Chairman of the Federal Character Commission,” Majekodunmi said.

“This appointment is a recognition of her integrity, experience and outstanding contributions to nation-building.”

Majekodunmi expressed confidence in Omidiran’s capacity to lead the Commission effectively, stressing that her vast experience in governance and administration will positively impact the FCC’s mandate of promoting fairness, equity and inclusiveness in public service.

“The Federal Character Commission plays a critical role in strengthening national unity and ensuring equitable representation across the federation,” he noted.

“I am confident that under her leadership, the Commission will discharge its responsibilities with fairness, transparency and commitment to justice.”

He further described her appointment as a source of pride to Osun State and an inspiration to women and young Nigerians aspiring to leadership roles.

“Chief Alhaja Omidiran’s elevation is a powerful reminder that competence, perseverance and service to humanity are always rewarded,” Majekodunmi added.

“Her success will continue to inspire many, especially women, to pursue excellence in public service.”

Majekodunmi concluded by praying for wisdom, strength and success for the new FCC Chairman as she takes on the national assignment.
