Arsenal of England winger, Noni Madueke, has waved aside personal glory after hitting a brace in the UEFA Champions League, which earned him a record of his first three goals for The Gunners coming in continental matches since arriving in the summer.

Sports247 reports that Madueke’s first goal was a superb solo effort, which he followed up later on with a header, after getting onto a cross from Martin Zubimendi, sealing a 3-0 win away to Club Brugge of Belgium.
That helped the Nigerian-born former Chelsea winger enact a new Arsenal milestone, having scored his first three goals for the London-based English Premier League leaders in European games.
Earlier on, Madueke hit a scintillating opener on 25 minutes when he held off Joaquin Seys deep in Club Brugge’s half, drove forward and thundered a long-range strike into the top-right corner.
Madueke ended up as man-of-the-match, while Gabriel Martinelli also made history as the first Arsenal player to score in five straight UCL games, while The Gunners maintained a record of six straight victories in this season’s contest.
A post on X by @OptaJoe revealed, “Noni Madueke is the first player in Arsenal’s history to score each of his first three goals for the club in the European Cup/Champions League stage.”
However, Madueke downplayed the individual focus he got, as he declared afterwards that it was a team effort and opted instead to highlight The Gunners’ chances of going all the way to their first UCL title and an EPL conquest.
Madueke told TNT Sports: “We’re fighting on all fronts. I feel like we can compete on all four fronts. We can win this competition. We can win the league as well.
“That has to be our aim. We’re in a good place at the moment. We’re a tight group; we want each other to do well. We know we have top players all around the squad.
“It’s about the collective, not about the individual. We all know we have a part to play, that is the good thing about this team.”
