“Loss Of Concentration Cost Us”, Stationery Stores FC Coach Bemoans Team Abysmal Performance Against 3SC

Newly appointed Stationery Stores head Coach, Adesina Yusuf took to the touchline for the very first time at the Agege Soccer Temple as his side crumble to visitors, 3SC in a 0-3 home loss.

Stationery Stores FC hasn’t won a game since the restart of the NNL as they struggle at the bottom edge of their group.

Speaking exclusively to Sports247.ng after the game, Adesina, a not too happy figure revealed that his boys have their best, just a matter of little details that cost them.

“Well, it is what it is…firstly I want to thank God, my boys played very well especially in the first half, we were in charge of the game, we just lost concentration towards the end of the first half and we conceded two goals but I believe if we work on our mistakes, on our loopholes, we will definitely come out stronger and achieve something in NNL, I believe that.”

On any chance of victory in their next game, he replied, “going away next, we have a very good chance, when an away team came here to beat us, we also can go away too and win, the issue is that we have little loopholes as I said earlier which we have to cover and I believe they will go away and get a point.”

Adesina was previously with the Lagos State team which club showed great character and teamwork, if such can be repeated with this current team, he said, “I was working with the Lagos State team before I was appointed definitely such form can be replicated here because firstly as a coach, you must be first of all technical enough, I know what to do, things and situations that I need to amend in stationery stores which I think can make them compete with any club in Nigeria.”

“The game isn’t a bad one as it seems, it was a good match but my boys lost the game, we will go back to our drawing board and correct our mistakes, I believe we will do better in our next game.”

“We haven’t won any game yet in our group and we can’t rule out our chance of survival yet that is if we do the right thing at the right time, my boys will definitely come out stronger in the next game, I have that outmost believe in them. I so much have that faith in them and you can see that their ball game is different from how they have been, it was so obvious and acknowledged by everyone,” he confidently remarked.
