Lookman Reinstates Atalanta Photos on Instagram as Palladino Offers Fresh Backing

Ademola Lookman has reinstated photos of himself in Atalanta colours on Instagram, signalling a fresh start under new head coach Raffaele Palladino, Sports247 reports.

This probably a signal to the end of weeks of uncertainty surrounding his future.

The Nigerian forward had previously hidden all Atalanta-related posts and replaced his profile. picture with a black dot

An action that sparked speculation of a possible exit. However, the images reappeared on Thursday, pointing to a shift in tone from the player.

Lookman had not deleted the posts but simply archived them, and their restoration suggests a renewed message of commitment.

His return to normal social media activity comes amid continued transfer interest from Galatasaray, as well as clubs in England and Spain.

The 28-year-old was also linked with Inter Milan, Bayern Munich and Atlético Madrid during the summer window but remained in Bergamo.

Despite delivering standout moments last season, including a memorable brace against Napoli, Lookman has struggled to replicate that form in the current campaign, scoring just once in ten appearances across all competitions.

Tensions with former manager Ivan Juric — highlighted by a reported disagreement during a Champions League clash against Marseille.

This further deepened speculation about his future. Juric was eventually dismissed following a poor run of results, allowing Palladino to take charge.

Palladino has since expressed firm confidence in Lookman, describing him as a key part of his plans and emphasising ongoing efforts to rebuild their relationship.

Palladino faces hercullean tasks of retoring Atalanta poor run of form from this weekend when they face Napoli on Saturday before travelling to Germany midweek to face Eintrant Frankfurt in the UEFA Champions League.

The club is currently on number 13 in the Italian Serie A and 16 on the UEFA Champions League table.

Lookman will now aim to regain top form as he heads into these crucial fixtures and as well help the Super Eagles cause at the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
