Lobi Stars agenda is to be in the Super Six – Ogbeide

Lobi Stars gaffer, Solomon Ogbeide says his target this season is to make the cut for the Super Six.

Ogbeide made the confession after his side held Kwara United to a goalless draw in Ilorin despite playing with a man less.

”We are playing two straight home matches and first on our agenda is to be in the super six and return to the continent. Our fate is still in our hands,” Ogbeide told Sports 247.

Only three teams each from the two groups will make it to the Super Six, where the winner of the Super Six would be crowned the champions of the 2019 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

In their quest to make it back to the continent, Lobi stars play their next two home games at home against relegation bound Bendel Insurance and league leaders, Rangers.

The Ortom Boys are currently placed fourth in the league standings, with 24 points from 17 matches – three points less than third-placed MFM.
