Ligue 1: Terem Moffi Scores As FC Lorient Earn Much Needed Point

Terem Moffi was on target for FC Lorient as they came from two goals down to earn a point away at OGC Nice on Wednesday night.

The Nigerian attacker had not scored for Lorient since finding the back of the net on his debut back in October.

Nice went 2-0 up in the first half at the Allianz Riviera through goals from Jordan Lotomba and Jeff Reine-Adelaide.

Moffi pulled one back for his side shortly after the restart with a left-footed shot from outside the box to the bottom left corner.

He was replaced in the 63rd minute and Lorient went on to snatch an equalizer later on when Adrian Grbic scored from the penalty spot.

Lorient are currently stuck in a relegation fight. The newly-promoted side are 18th in the Ligue 1 table with 12 points after 17 rounds.

Elsewhere in France, Josh Maja was a second-half sub for Bordeaux as they fell to 3-1 a home defeat against Stade Reims. Samuel Kalu continues to be sidelined through injury.

Moses Simon was brought on in the 59th minute with Nantes already 3-0 down to Lyon. The game ended with the scoreline and the Canaries are without a win in their last eight matches.
