Liammed Gafar Speaks As Eight Teams Battle For 35Million Naira In Lagos

    Eight teams would be fighting for the sum of N35Million naira in the upcoming scouting football tournament whick kicks off on October 17, 2022 in Lagos.

    Chairman 36 Lion Football Club of Lagos, Liammed Gafar confirmed to Sports247 that the scouting football competition would attract big clubs in Nigeria saying that four teams have confirmed their registration and readiness for the tournament.

    He explained that the winners would go home with the sum of N20Million naira with a giant trophy, while first and second runner up would receive N10million and N5million naira respectively.

    Gafar disclosed that only four slots are available for interested clubs added that the tournament is eight teams format.

    “The Lagos would shake when the competition starts on October.It is going to be war for eight teams because of the money and prestige attached to the tournament,”he said.

    Asked which teams are registered for the tournament,Gafaar said when the time comes, he would reveal the names of the registered clubs to the public.

    “I don’t want to reveal the clubs that registered for the tournament because we want the eight teams to complete their registration forms before we reveal all the clubs to the public,”he said.

    Gafar who is also a board member of Lagos State Football Association, LSFA also confirmed that some foreign football scouts would be on ground to assess the players throughout the three days football scouting programme.
