“Let’s Get Back To Winning Way” KG Sports Academy Coach Urges Players Ahead Of Big Daddy Clash

KG Sports Academy head coach, Ogundeji Adeyinka has charged his players to go for victory in their Week 5 Encounter against Big Daddy FC.

The match will take place today (April 27) at the Agbor Township Stadium, Delta State by 3 pm.

Adeyinka gave the charge while addressing the players shortly before their final training session on Wednesday evening.

“You have to Give your best in this game. We need to bounce back to our winning ways” he said.

”After two back-to-back losses, We are heading into the game as underdogs and we have nothing to lose, the Coach also added:

“I believe in all of you because I trust you to deliver. Let’s get the job done.”

The encounter is KG Sports Academy 4th match in the AFCADU Champions League after winning their opening match 4-1 against Ekuku Agbor United, before losing to Rainbow FC 1-0 in week 3 and then suffering another 3-1 defeat to rivals Winners FC in week 4 to leave the Coach Adeyinka side to 4th place on the table with 3 points from 3 matches.

Big Daddy FC are second on the table with 5 points from 3 matches, they are yet to lose in the series and have won Ekuku Agbor 3-1 and went on to draw 2-2 against Rainbow and 2-2 against Winners FC.

Coach Adeyinka will be expecting to name a strong squad for the tie with captain and Utility player Marvelous Otutu, Gangling Big Do, Hard tackling Onyebuchi Chidubem, hattrick hero Osas, Diminutive Akorede, and enterprising Innocent Wisdom, On Loan Dependable defender Godspower is set to return after missing out the last encounter, with versatile Kessinton Otuya and Ibrahim Kante Amin expected to marshall the midfield. Goalkeeper Elvis Nzekwe will also be at his best to shut out Big Daddy who has so far scored 7 goals and conceded 5 in the AFCADU Champions League.

Meanwhile, Coach Adeyinka also broke the news to the players that Director Ken Gadaffi has pledged to offer all the players a winning bonus should they win the encounter. “I am happy to inform you all that the Director has promised to give a winning bonus to all the players should we win this match,” he told the players. It will be recalled that the Director who is currently in his base in Cambodia gave out #500 each to all 26 registered players after the win against Ekuku Agbor.

In other Week 5 matches, Green Rangers FC shocked Golden Boys 1-0 in their backyard on Wednesday while the match between Superfly and Palace was given as a walkover to Palace after the suspension of Superfly from the tournament.

Ambassadors FC will take on Star Peak also today before going to face Emerald FC On Saturday while Winners will take on Ekuku AGbor on Saturday. Ceemy Iyke will host Soccer Stars on Sunday and Delta Milan will travel to Abavo to play Abavo United also on Sunday to wrap up the first round of the Group Phase.
