Coach of Team360Fc, Shola Raji has commended the efforts of his team, despite losing 2-0 to Emmydihon Fc in the Legend Cup tournament currently going on at the Agege Stadium in Lagos.

Team 360Fc who lost their first game in the competition to SGH Fc, has now lost their second game to Emmydihon Fc to end their participation in the Legend Cup tournament.

In an interview with Sports 247, Team 360Fc’s Coach, Raji Shola despite their elimination in the tournament, commended the efforts of his players, saying that they gave their best in the tournament, even though it wasn’t enough and that they would head back to the drawing board.

“First of all, I give kudos to my boys, I know they gave their best, but the best wasn’t good enough. It’s the same thing that was being said in their attack programme, held in the Teslim stadium, a couple of weeks ago, and it’s the same thing we presented here. We have been working towards the legend cup actually but it was just unfortunate for us that so many things went wrong for us best known to us, which we will go back and work on when we get back to the field”.

“Definitely we are out because we lost two (2) games already and there are three (3) teams in the group and definitely, we are out of the tournament, it wasn’t a good result, but we just have to take it like that and go back to the drawing board”.

The Coach while still speaking with Sports 247 also spoke about the plans for his team after their exit in the Legend Cup, saying that they still have other engagements after the Legend Cup and his team will resume training on Monday.

“We still have some other engagements, which we are still going back. We are resuming back training on Monday and we begin work again”, he concluded.

The Legend Cup tournament continues today with eight (8) teams now left to battle it out to see who comes out Champions at the end of the competition.
