Speaking ahead of Galatasaray’s UEFA Champions League clash, Leboeuf said Osimhen has proven his quality and deserves to be playing at the very highest level of club football.

“I would love to see him in the Premier League or La Liga,” Leboeuf said.

The former defender explained that while Osimhen has been impressive, he believes the striker should be competing in what he described as the “biggest leagues” in the world.

“He deserves to play in the biggest leagues,” he added.

Leboeuf pointed specifically to the Premier League and La Liga as ideal destinations for the Nigerian forward.

According to him, a move to either of those leagues would further elevate Osimhen’s career and expose him to a higher level of competition on a consistent basis.

“The level there will push him even more,” he noted.
The Frenchman also suggested that playing outside the Turkish league would enhance Osimhen’s global profile and cement his status among the elite strikers in world football.

Despite his comments, Osimhen has continued to deliver strong performances for Galatasaray, particularly in European competitions.

Leboeuf concluded by reiterating that the Nigerian striker has already shown enough quality to take the next step in his career and compete among the very best in world football.
