This was revealed to Sports247 by the school’s head of sports, Alade Femi, who enthused that Lead-Forte’s contingent will make Nigeria proud by stepping up further from the achievements they gained during last year’s All Private School Games in Lagos.

Although the global competition is scheduled to begin this weekend, Alade is of a strong view that the school’s contingent will meet up with all logistics, so that they can give Nigeria a good representation.

He further disclosed that the college engages not only in football for boys and girls, but also pointed out that their students are equally good in other sporting endeavours for both gender.

The sports educator concluded by calling on Nigeria’s sports authorities and administrators to look towards private schools across the country in order to fish out hidden talents that can bring global glory home to the nation in the near future.

Alade added, “Our biggest achievements in 2025 were at the All Private School Games and also in the AISEN U-17 Football Competition for both female and male.

“This year, we are now preparing for the World Secondary School Games and AISEN U-14 Football Competition at Day Waterman College in Ogun State.

“As 2026 gets into full steam, my message to Nigeria’s sports officials and administrators is that they should look more at the development of talents in various private secondary schools through catch them young programmes.”
