Lagos to Host Maiden N-Youth Super 8 as Enyimba, 4 Other NPFL Teams Showcase U-19 Talents

The bustling city of Lagos is set to host the inaugural edition of the N-Youth League Super 8, bringing together eight elite Under-19 teams from across the country in a showcase of the best emerging football talents in Nigeria.

Scheduled to run from June 23, the tournament features the top four teams each from the Northern and Southern Conferences of the recently concluded N-Youth League regular season.

Among the qualified teams are youth sides of five Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) clubs, including Enyimba International, Plateau United, Kano Pillars, Kwara United, and Sunshine Stars.

The emergence of these clubs gives the keen watchers of the NPFL to see the next generation Stars of these professional footballers in Nigeria.

Other teams joining them include Mailantarki SC, Shuffle Select FC, and Atlantic Business FC to battle for the ultimate prize of the best youth team in the country.

In addition to the competition for the first-ever N-Youth League title, the tournament presents a unique opportunity for young players to impress club directors and European scouts expected in attendance. The event serves not only as a competition but also as a high-stakes scouting platform.
