Lagos Supremacy Cup: 36 Lion Captain Dedicates Title To Gafar, Thanks Fans For Support

Captain of 36 Lion Football Club, Hitler Eniye has dedciated the team’s victory to the club chairman, Alhaji Olawale Liammed Gafar for his support given the team to win their first title in year 2023.

36 Lion emerged champions of Supremacy Cup after defeating Spartan 4-3 on penalty shootout.

The pulsating final which held yesterday at the Onikan Stadium ended 1-1 before the two teams went into penalty shootout.

Eniye in a chat with sports247.ng said it has been a long time the club had won title and thanked God for winning Supremacy Cup.

“It was a sweet victory for us and the the entire club management.We fought all through and at the end of the day we were crowned as champions.On behalf of my colleagues, i say big thanks to our amiable chairman, Alhaji Olawale Liammed Gafar for his support given us throughout the competition.

“I dedicate this trophy to Almighty God and our club chairman and we cannot forget to thank our fans who were solidly behind us to achieve this feat,”,he said.
