Lagos Football Coaches: Shocker As Electoral Committee Plans To Conducts Another Election

It is no longer a news that the Lagos State Football Coaches Association had successfully conducted it elections recently as Tairu Hassan elected as the chairman and other candidates emerged winners in their various position but what is news now is that the electoral committee has advertised some vacant positions that candidates would vie for before the inauguration day.

The vacant position are following: First Vice Chairman, Treasurer, PRO, Financial Secretary and Welfare

The chairman Electoral Committee, Suraju Alao in a statement forwarded to our correspondent early today said there are some positions in the association that are vacant as a result of disqualification of some candidates during the screening exercise.

“We are not conducting another election or bye- election but we are conducting election into some position that are vacant. During our screening exercise, we observed that some candidates who vied for these above mentioned positions failed to meet the requirements and we committee decided and resolved to go ahead to conduct the elections into the positions the candidates meet the requirements,” he said.

Alao said the sales of forms for the positions are available saying that only the position of first vice chairman is N40,000, while other positions are N20,000.

Alao announced that the screening exercise would hold on 6, June while the conclusion of election would hold on 9, June, 2022.
