Lagos City Cup: Eletu Coach Predicts Tough Game Against Dominion Hotspurs

Coach of Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club of Lagos, Isreal Adegolu has predicted that their next match against Dominion Hotspurs would be a tough game.

Adegolu said this after his team defeated FC Middlewell 2-1 in the group A opener played Saturday afternoon at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena formerly known as Onikan Stadium, Lagos Island.

Adegolu said having won their opening game, their next match would be a tough game considering the fact their opponents, Dominion Hotspurs have drawn their first game.

“We started on a winning note despite the fact that i am not satisfied with my boys performance.We are focusing on our next game against Dominion Hotspurs.It is going to be a difficult and tough game for both teams but i want to assure our fans, we would come out victorious”he said.

Meanwhile Akeem Taofeek goal in the 48th minutes was Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club needed in the second half to defeat their oppenents,Middlewell Football Club of Lagos Island.

The Lagos City Cup whick kicked off today is organised by Ikorodu City Football Club in collaboration with FC Barcelona and Saint Jude Football Club.

Prince Kazzem Eletu who were drawn in group A gave a good account of themselves as they defeated their oppenents 2-1 in an encounter watched by hundred of football fans.

Chinedu Emmanuel opened the goal account for Eletu boys who were in control of the game in the first half.

The second half was more tougher for Eletu boys who allowed their opponents to pile pressure on them.Middlewell who enjoyed home support raised their game as their effort was rewarded in the early second half through Oladele Daniel.

Their equaliser changed the face of the game as both teams were delighted to watch in their performance.

Some minutes to end the game, Eletu player,Taofeek fired a shot at the close range to give Eletu hard fought victory.

The victory earned Eletu to top the group A after Box 2 Box played barren draw with Dominion Hotspurs.
