Kwara United’s Jide Fatokun Turns 23, Wants 3 Points Against Dakkada As Birthday Gift

Kwara United super midfielder Jide Fatokun has stated clearly that he will only be celebrating his birthday after his club must have gotten the three maximum points against Dakkada on Sunday in Ilorin.

Jide Fatokun on Saturday, February 13, which is today turned 23 and the attacking midfielder has been getting congratulatory messages from fans and well-wishers in Nigeria and abroad.

Since Fatokun joined Kwara United before the start of the ongoing NPFL season from Sunshine Stars, he has been impressive for the Harmony Boys considering his wonderful styles of play.

The combination of Jide Fatokun and Afeez Nosiru in the midfield has been perfect so far for Kwara United this term in the NPFL.

Speaking to Kwara United Media Team on his birthday celebration, Jide Fatokun thanked all his fans, family, friends, and Kwarans for the awesome messages he has been getting.

“I am really impressed and amazed by the messages I have been getting since 12 am from great people and I want to thank everyone for the love shown to me. I really appreciate and God bless you all.

“The only gift I want is three points in our game against Dakkada tomorrow and my teammates have promised me that we will all work hard together to beat our opponents,” Fatokun explained.

Kwara United will have the chance to climb to the first position on the NPFL standings if they should beat Dakkada 2-0 on Sunday at the Kwara state stadium.

United gaffer Abdullahi Biffo explained that his wards are ready and in high spirit to face Dakkada in a must-win encounter.

“My players are ready and I am sure and positive that tomorrow’s game will end in success for us by the grace of God.

“I also want to thank all our fans and followers for the support so far this season in the NPFL. I am grateful to everyone,” Biffo explained.

Kwara United are currently occupying the third position on the NPFL table with 18 points, while Dakkada occupies seventh with 14 points.
