Kwara United to face Offa FC as Omoluabi praises Governor Abdulrahman

Kwara United will on Thursday morning, November 21, face selected Offa FC side in a friendly match at the Oloffa Township stadium by 8am.

The Harmony Boys have been in the ancient town of Offa since Monday where they are observing their final preparation for the National League season.

Biffo and his wards have confirmed their readiness for the new season after campaigning in three different pre season tournaments.

While confirming the friendly encounter, Azeez Omoluabi who is the chairman of Offa FC stated that people in Offa are ready to storm the stadium to watch the Harmony Boys.

“We have made preparation for Offa FC to face Kwara United tomorrow morning and I can confirm that Offa people are eager to watch the team.

“The match will be played by 8am because Kwara United will still train later in the evening,” Omoluabi explained.

Omoluabi who has been an active football administrator for more than 10 years also praised Governor Abdulrahman for his support for Kwara United.

He stressed that Kwara United must get promotion ticket so as to make the number one citizen in the state of Harmony happy.

“I want to thank the Governor for the support he has been giving to Kwara United and also for allowing them to come and camp in Offa.

“Governor Abdulrahman is a sport loving man and that is why he is ready to support Kwara United. I also want to appreciate him for the new bus he gave to the team,” Omoluabi explained.

Meanwhile, Kwara United are expected to leave Offa on Friday evening for a return to Ilorin and they will rest on Saturday before facing Gombe United on Sunday in their first game of the season.
